Mr. Swiney's Page
Welcome Everyone!
I am Mr. Swiney and I am excited to be teaching you and working with you this year!
A few things about myself:
- Teaching is my passion! I have been teaching since 2019, in parts of Virginia and Tennessee.
- I am originally from Big Stone Gap, Virginia, which is about 1 hour from Baileyton. I currently live in Hawkins County.
- I have a wife named Cynthia, and we have been married since 2012.
- I have two dogs (Neyland and Smokey), two cats (Summitt and Dolly), and one Leopard Gecko (Debbie).
- My parents (Don and Kathy) live in Florida. I have 3 older sisters. Their names are Andrea (who lives in Florida), Heather (who lives in North Carolina), and Sarah (who lives in Arkansas. I don't have any brothers. I do have 9 nieces and nephews.
- I love to hunt and fish.
- I am a huge fan of the Tennessee Volunteers, Atlanta Braves, and New Orleans Saints!
One more piece of information that I am excited about.....
My wife and I are expecting a baby in February/March of 2024!
