Student Registration
North Greene High School operates on the Block Scheduling system. Students are in class for 90 minutes each day for 90 days. At the end of the 90-day period, students who successfully complete their classes receive a full year's credit. They then enroll in new courses for the second 90-day period. Students are required to take 4 credit classes each term so that during a year, all students who successfully complete their course work receive 8 credits. The curriculum includes all required classes, plus a variety of elective courses which include, but are not limited to, Art, Band, Web Design, and Agriculture. In addition, our curriculum is supplemented by the Greene Technology Center, which is a cooperative school operated by the county and city jointly. At the Greene Technology Center, students may also choose from a wide variety of vocational courses which range from Cosmetology to Pre-Engineering.
