English III/US History (Period 1st)

This is a 36 week course that combines the curriculum of English III and United States History.  Study begins in the colonial period and works its way to the present day focusing on the history and literature from each period in chronological order.  The course studies literature from Arthur Miller, Washington Irving, Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Harper Lee, and even Stephen King.  The course also focuses on writing and computer literacy and the curriculum content can be found in its entirety on Canvas.
